I'm one of the senior engineers at Packet Design, Inc., where I work on the Route Explorer and Traffic Explorer route analytics appliances.

I'm also a developer on the FreeBSD Project. My main role is as a member of the Release Engineering team (I was a member from 2000 through 2004, took a break for a couple years, and came back in 2006). Previously I was also a member of the Documentation Engineering team. Most of my work deals with the release notes and accompanying documentation, as well as general release engineering issues.

I am a three-time graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley. (Go Bears!)
